TITANIUM - PRODUCTS
Pipeline collars, also called flanges, are pipe fittings used to connect pipes, valves and other equipment to form a piping system.
This type of connection (flange connection) is the most popular, convenient and cheap method of joining and expanding the system. Collars could also be applied to connect flexi hoses.
There are different types of flanges and collars, such as welding neck flanges, blind and threaded flanges. For large-diameter pipes a loose flange can be used. The choice of a proper flange/collar should be carefully contemplated taking into consideration the pressure used in the system as well as pipes diameter.
Usage of titanium collars
Joining collars are usually welded while flange joints are made by bolting two flages together. Such connection is simple, cheap and provides a tight seal, without necessity to thread.
They are common in any pipeline systems; used in waterworks, gas and sewerage or other parts of the installation. Titanium collars are quite popular in chemical equipment applications and are also used as a plate mill with finishing facilities, where a rim serves as edger.
We supply titanium collars and flanges, seamless and welded, short or long, in any dimension requested by our client. All our titanium collars are made in accordance with ASTM standards and conform to Pressure Equipment Directive – ASME and MSS SP-43.
