TITANIUM POWDER
Spherical powder Ti6Al4V (UNS R56400 / 3.7165) is an alpha-beta alloy most widely used in high strength applications. It is a silvery-grey metallic powder commonly used in aerospace, power generation, mining or off-shore drilling industries.
Titanium powders exhibit a very high corrosion resistance and high strength which allows them to become more and more popular with applications in aviatic or medical industry.
This material has excellent biocompatibility and good osseointegration and is utilized where direct contact with tissue or bone is required.
This alloy is often used in structural elements of the fuselage, hydraulic systems and jet engine components. Other practical applications: in submarines, ship’s propellers, shafts, rigging, and other highly corrosive parts.
